Skagit Brand

  • Since the early 1900s, Skagit Products has been building heavy-duty machinery for a variety of industries. Skagit is the leader in designing and manufacturing deep-water mooring system for offshore drilling vessels, pipelay & derrick barges and floating production systems.

SMATCO Brand

  • Southern Machine and Tool Company(SMATCO) was formed in 1948 as an oilfiled equipment repair shop located along side Bayou LaCarpe in Houma, Louisiana. The development of the offshore drilling industry in Louisiana engendered the manufacture of SMATCO’s first winch in 1967.
  • Since that time, SMATCO has developed a standard line of winches with models that range in size from 10,000 pounds line pull to 1,320,000 pounds line pull. Over the years, SMATCO has expanded its winch product line to include windlasses, capstans, tuggers, fairleads and deck sheaves.

  • Oil States’ Nautilus™ line of marine cranes is respected worldwide for quality, safety and engineering excellence.
